notes with stems going up; left for those going down.

Play
(1) the first four lines, ignoring broken-lined ties between notes;
(2) repeat first four lines, observing the ties; then play
(3) the upper part of remaining systems;
(4) repeat upper part, using right hand only (including notes with
stems going down), together with the lower part, for which use
left hand.

Optional additional:
(5) after playing (4), play the last four systems again, using sticks
for the top part and whistling the bottom part; or: after playing
(t) (i) throush (4) as above, Play (1) throush (5) or a selection
from (I) through (5), using sticks (and whistling in (5) ).
