- Over 30 countries fought the war.
- Allies vs. Central Powers.
- Britain’s entry turned the war into a global conflict.
War of Production
- Resources were pooled to manufacture weapons.
- Britain alone produced 4 million rifles, 52,000 aeroplanes and
2800 tanks!
War of Innovation
- Aircrafts were equipped with deadly weapons.
- Chemical Warfare.
- Communication technology was developed.
- There were advancements in Medicine due to war.
