‘Conflict of Laws’ is the best title of reference to the study of cases containing a foreign

element rather than ‘private international law’. Therefore, conflict of laws is that part of

municipal law that deals with claims having an international elements, conflict of laws arise

when one legal system has to deal with the legal rules of another in matters of private rights.1
