    Philippine Tourism, Culture and Geography

    “TOUR GUIDING PRESENTATION”

    OBJECTIVES:

    1. The students will be able to present the provinces’ information, gastronomies, culture and traditions.
    2. The students will be able to discuss the different provinces of the Philippines.
    3. The students will be able to promote the local tourist destinations.
    4. The students will be able to develop self-confidence, communication and interpersonal skills.

    MECHANICS:

    1. The class will be divided into 2 batches.


    2. The students are required to present the following: Information (Capital of the province, Area, People, Dialect, etc.), (2) Tourist
    attractions, (2) gastronomies and (2) Festivals. Each presenter will be given 3 minutes for their presentation.
    3. The students will be expected to be creative with their presentation and complete uniform.

    RUBRICS:

    Knowledge about the province


    (Mastery of the place. The information given to the 40%
    audience is correct, updated and accurate.)

    Delivery of the presentation


    (The student is well prepared; speaks clearly, 30%
    communicate well, and maintains good posture and eye
    contact with the audience.)

    Content and Organization of the presentation 15%


    (Information and ideas are presented in an organized
    manner.)

    Attire 15%
    (The student wears clean and decent attire; projects a
    professional look.)

    Total 100 pts.
