The organisation started with 5 underprivileged families and 10 product types, the organisation
has grown to employ 108 families with 4 production units and 500 product variants to choose
from [1]. Kottanz was founded by Levis Mithra, who was formerly leading a luxury handcraft
brand, FIBERKRAFT. [1] It has regional offices in Pune, Mumbai, Odisha, Guwahati and
Hyderabad. [1]

In 2019, the company has launched it’s first offline store in Bangalore.[2] And has expanded to
include product lines for marriages, baby shower and corporate events. [2] It has the distinction of
sourcing all of its materials within India for making its products. [2]
