10 pt. Character Description & Personality PHB
110

All the members of the Aethelflaed clan are blessed with the exotic
good looks of their ancestors, and Blair is no exception. Though
she is not as beautiful as some of her other sisters, she still catches
the eye of many suitors. Her black hair is thick and glossy, kept at
shoulder length though often tied at the back of her head with a
few freed locks tucked behind her ears. She has a pretty face that is
almost misleadingly feminine for such an able warrior, with fair
skin, a slightly upturned nose, a strong sloping jaw and a charming
curve of her lips. It is only in battle that her features twist to reveal
the true soldier within. Her eyes, a sharp cerulean color, reflect her
confidence and never fail to look a person straight in the eye. They
are accented by arched eyebrows which are tear shaped close to
her nose, but thin out as they travel outward towards her ears,
which are adorned with several tight piercings.
Her body is lithe and hardened from exercise and combat, not as
curvy or soft as the plump noble women whom men fawn over, but
possessing undeniably feminine hips and a larger than average
bosom that looked deceptively small when bound against her chest.
When armored, Blair wears a chainmail coat that covers her arms 5'8" 160 Fair Blue Black

death itself and emerged victorious. From that moment her parents knew that she was destined for great things.
Growing up at the inn Blair was taught to read and write, as well as the basic arithmetic required to run an establishment like that. She
was always clever, too clever for her own good her mother would sometimes say, and she would often shirk her responsibilities to ask the
patrons to tell her tales of their travels, a request that was rarely denied due to her charming personality. Her wanderlust grew as she
became older, and when not at the inn she could usually be found mock-fighting with the neighborhood children. Her skills quickly grew
to be unmatched by the other, even older, children, but this natural aptitude would go mostly unnoticed until her tenth year.
Ser Eckhard, a Knight of Saint Kathryn whose duties took him to Knechtsburg, happened to come across Blair as she toppled a boy
nearly twice her weight while dueling with wooden swords. He did not think much of it until he came across her again in his stay at the
inn, and he observerved her during his sojourn and becoming more and more convinced that she would make an excellent knight. Before
departing he approached Blair's parents with his request that they sponsor her to join the Order of Saint Kathryn. Though it was
expensive, they agreed to save up the money, and Eckhard promised that he would return in a year's time to take her with him. To Blair,
this was like her greatest dream coming true. She dreamed of Eckhard every night, the one who would take her away from this dull
existence. The year passed and Blair grew taller, stronger, and ever more eager for the knight to return.
The day finally came for her to start her new life, and she progressed even faster under Eckhard’s tutelage, travelling with him and
learning not only combat, but history and philosophy as well. She grew to love the man for his strength, courage, and wisdom, but he was
already married by the time they met, and she grew used to the fact that their relationship could never be anything more than as comrades
