HR Functions
The company’s HR Department is led by the Senior HR Manager, Mrs. Gayathri Shankar.
The Middle East Asia Pacific. HR Department has 3 major Functions - HR Recruitment, HR
Business Partners and HR Operations/ Admin.
The Intern is currently working as part of the HR Operations and Recruiting team.
The Intern reports to the HR Recruitment Manager Mr.AnbuMani, who heads the recruitment
team and is the Assistant General Manager.
At RAMBOLL the recruitment happens in cycles or phases. The recruitment season for
Design Engineer is now underway and ROGIN plans to hire 50 Design Engineers by the end
of June. The HR Recruitment team takes care of end-to-end recruitment from Sourcing till
On boarding of the Employee.

Building Information Modeling, where they build the prototype in 3D and use this to
coordinate and optimize geometry, quantities, construction sequence and time schedules.They
design more than 10 million square meters of buildings every year, equating to approx.
10,000 separate buildings projects of varying size.
Tasks Handled
The Intern was given the task of Sourcing profiles through Naukri and Indeed job portals for
the post of HR Recruiter Trainee. The need for the HR recruiter is high during the peak hiring
season, and recruiter hired are used to source profiles for various job positions and to help
with profile filtering. The Intern was tasked with the Task of Sourcing profiles in order to
hire/select at least 4 candidates for the HR Recruiter position.
Since the Job had already been advertised the Intern was required to filter and shortlist
applicants profiles based on the requirement of the Organization and to have them come in
for a Technical Aptitude test then face-to-face discussion with the selection team.
LEARNINGS
The Intern got an exhaustive understanding of the design and consultancy companies and its
workings and operations. The intern also learnt how to negotiate with Applicants and to
commit them into coming for the interview. For every aptitude test conducted , only 3 or 4
candidates would selected out of which 1 or 2 would be finalized for the job. The process
though tedious is a great learning process, on how on can market a job offer to a potential
candidate and convince them to taking the interview.
