CONFERENCE 2010

  Instructions and information


Key Club members, adult advisors, and invited guests are expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the high ideals of Key Club and
  should abide by the provisions of this Code while in attendance at the Regional Training Conference. All attendees must respect the authority of
the Sergeant at Arms Committee, Key Club Administrators, and designated staff. This form must be read, understood, and signed by all RTC
  attendees and interested members (those on the waiting list). It must be sent along with the Registration form to the San Leandro Kiwanis Club.
  Responsible Behavior
1. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and are required to attend all sessions and workshops unless specified otherwise.
2. Attendees are expected to pick up and clean up after themselves. All trash  must be disposed of in its appropriate waste receptacle. Attendees are strongly
encouraged to recycle and reuse disposable products as possible.
3. Attendees must abide by all Federal, State, and County Laws, Rules, and Regulations. These will be enforced. The camp will not be responsible in case
of deviation from these laws by attendees.
 
4. Attendees may not possess weapons, firecrackers, or anything of a dangerous nature or act in any way unbecoming of a Key Club member.
5. Attendees may not possess, consume, or use alcoholic beverages or tobacco   products for the duration of the event.
6. Attendees may not possess or use any drugs or other controlled substance with the exception of medication prescribed by a doctor.

  physical or mental discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule
of others. Participants may not do anything of a dangerous nature or that would threaten the safety and well-being of others.

Lodging  
1. Attendees must sleep in designated areas.
2. Female members are not allowed in the room of any male member, and male   members are not allowed in the room of any female member at any time.
3. All members must abide by the curfew and schedule specified by the Regional Training Conference Planning Committee.
 
Enforcement
1. Violation of this Code will result in notification to the District Administrator, Regional Advisor, and parent/guardian. If a student is dismissed from
 
the event it will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to cover any charges incurred.
2. Violations involving destruction of property OR possession, consumption or use of drugs, alcohol or controlled substances, will result in immediate
dismissal from the event.  
3. Violations involving vandalism, theft, gross insubordination, violence or lodging violations will result in dismissal from the event.
4. The Sergeant-at-Arms Committee, the Regional Training Conference Planning   Committee, and Regional Advisors have the discretion to dismiss any
participant with due reason.
