ORDER DENYING BOND

This matter came before the Court on this date on the defendant's Motion to Set Bond.
The defendant was present in open court and was represented by Brian Clark and John
Brinkley, Equires. The State of Alabama was represented by Chief Deputy District Attorney
Timothy Gann and Assistant District Attorney Timothy Douthit. The defendant was before the
Court for preliminary hearing on this date as well and the Court entertained arguments on the
issue of bond from both parties following the preliminary hearing.

At the request of defense counsel, the Court took the issue of bond under advisement
pending the Court's review of certain video evidence obtained in the investigation of this case.
The State of Alabama had no objection to providing the video evidence for the Court's in-
camera review. The Court has received said evidence and has reviewed said evidence at
length.

Based upon the evidence presented at the preliminary hearing, the nature and potential
punishment of the offense charged if convicted, as well as the criminal history of the defendant
and the video evidence reviewed by the Court, the defendant's Motion to Set Bond is hereby
DENIED. The Defendant shall be held without bond pending action by the Madison County
Grand Jury.

Further, the Court says naught.

DONE this 27th day of January, 2020.
