Presidential Decree No.

1112 which as an act “Authorizing The Establishment Of

Toll Facilities On Public Improvements, Creating A Board For The Regulation
Thereof And For Other Purposes”, provides that Government vehicles on official
business shall be exempted from the payment of toll fees under such
procedures and circumstances as will be promulgated by the Board;

That paragraph (c) Section 7, PD 4136 classifies government vehicles as motor

vehicles owned by the government of the Philippines or any of its political
subdivisions;

That Official business means any matter over which a governmental body has
any authority, administrative duties, or advisory duties;

That as per communication with the technical division of the Toll Regulatory
Board, exemption to the payment of toll fees operates upon presentment of
verified trip ticket including its particulars to the teller during such travel
hence may be availed of on a case to case basis;

Now therefore, upon consideration of these premises, the office shall seek
further clarification to avail of the benefit.
