What is axiology?
Axiology is a branch of physiology that aims to reflect values and evaluative judgments. It
can be defined as the theory of values. We can define as a value all those sentimental
characteristics of human beings that differentiate us from others.

What is the value theory about?

The theory of value is a branch of philosophy that studies the nature of values, determines
how each person analyzes the positive and negative values, providing a foundation in the
ethical and aesthetic judgments that issues.

What is the relation between axiology and deontology?

The difference between axiology and deontology is that axiology studies the theory of
values: what objects, entities, states of affairs, situations are good or bad, admirable or
detestable and that by virtue of what kind of reasons? While deontology studies the theory
of duties, what human actions are correct, incorrect? what is due, obligated, allowed,
prohibited, and by virtue of what kind of reasons?
