AIRFRAME
The wings on the Bowing AX-010712 feature a supercritical airfoil design that is swept
back at 31.6 degrees and optimized for cruising at Mach 0.83 (revised after flight tests
up to Mach 0.84). The wings are designed with increased thickness and a longer span
than previous airliners, resulting in greater payload and range, improved takeoff
performance, and a higher cruising altitude. The wings also serve as fuel storage, with
longer-range models able to carry up to 47,890 US gallons (181,300 L) of fuel.

The wingspans is about 60.93 meters (199 feet and 11 inches).

Overall Height of the aircraft is 18.51 meters (60 feet and 8 inches).

Overall Length of the aircraft is 73.86 meters (242 feet and 4 inches).

The aircraft also features the largest landing gear and the biggest tires ever used
in a commercial jetliner. The six-wheel bogies are designed to spread the load of the
aircraft over a wide area without requiring an additional centerline gear. This helps
reduce weight and simplifies the aircraft's braking and hydraulic systems. Each tire of a
AX-010712 six-wheel main landing gear can carry a load of 59,490 lb (26,980 kg),
which is heavier than other wide-bodies such as the 747-400. The aircraft has triple
redundant hydraulic systems with only one system required for landing. See photos
below.

AUTO-PILOT SYSTEM
THREE AXIS AUTO-PILOT
The three-axis autopilot system installed is capable of controlling an aircraft an all the 3
axes-roll, pitch & yaw with the help of all three –ailerons, elevators and rudder.
This technological feature will be technically called the Advanced Relay Feature which
is an additional upgrade to the system of the aircraft, the advanced relay is a built-in
optimizing program which brings out the maximum efficiency of the three axis auto-pilot
overall system. Specifically, it is enhance the functional system of the central processing
unit of the three axis auto-pilot.
Advanced relay system include a vertical speed and/or indicated airspeed hold mode.

FLIGHT DIRECTOR
At this point, our team has already installed the flight director which reduces the
workload by displaying directions from horizontal situation indicator (HSI), located on
the attitude information from just one instrument. Without a flight director, a pilot is
required to include the attitude indicator (AI) and a navigation (nav) instrument in their
normal instrument scan. The nav instruments provide course and glide slope
information and the AI provides information about changes in turns and pitch.
The flight director computes how much bank and pitch are required to maintain the
course set by the pilot. It takes the raw data provided by the HSI, which calculates
whether the aircraft is right or left of course, and above or below glide slope. The flight
director transposes this data onto the AI to indicate the correct pitch and bank that will
keep the aircraft on its programmed course.

ATTITUDE DIRECTOR INDICATOR
It is a flight instrument installed by our team in this aircraft which its purpose is to inform
the pilot of the aircraft orientation relative to Earth's horizon, and gives an immediate
indication of the smallest orientation change. The miniature aircraft and horizon bar
mimic the relationship of the aircraft relative to the actual horizon.
