(PFCCL) as PMA on Revised BOQ (Amendment-2) submitted by the Turnkey Agency, M/S L&T Ltd, for Rural Electricity Infrastructure Development, Metering works & Agriculture Feeder Segregation works under DDUGJY in North 24 Parganas District under Package No. 22° Reference: (1) DDUGIY/LOA/PK-22/ N-24 PGS /VIL.&FDR/L&T/SUPPLY/550 DATED 28/06/17 (2) DUGIY/LOA/PK-22/N-24 PGS/VIL.&FOR/L&T/ERECTION/S51 DATED 28/06/17 (3) CE/Project-II/DDUGIY/T-14/2372 DATED: 25.01.2018 (4) CE/Project-il/DDUGIY/T-14/2917 DATED: 01.03.2019 After going through the revised BOQ (Amendment-2) submitted by the turnkey agency M/S LAT Ltd for the Package Number-22 under DDUGJY in North 24 Parganas District which is prepared on the basis of approved revised 80Q (1" revision) by North 24 Parganas RE Project Office WBSEDCL, We have come out with the following observation in seriatim. 1) The requirement of DTR meter of different capacity has been reduced from METERING scope of work. Consequently 1.1 KV Grade LT XLPE Power cables and accessories will no longer required .The respective revised BOQ (Amendment-2) have been approved by the WBSEDCL officials in consultation of PMA. This may be approvec 2) Three (3) nos. of Feeders are reduced from the scope of work as per the advice of WBSEDCL Authority based on necessity. Accordingly, requirement of 8mtr/9mtr PCC poles and Rabbit conductor, 25KVA/63KVA DTR are also decreased for this purpose .The same has been approved by the Project Manager, North 24 Parganas RE Project, WBSEDCL in consultation with the Project-II wing as well as PMA. This also may be approved. 3). The requirement of LT AB cable in some more theft prone area as recommended by the (O&M Divisions has been taken for consideration which has been subsequently approved by the Project Manager in consultation with the Project-lI wing as well as PMA. Accordingly, some more requirment of poles are also taken into account for this purpose. 4), The Requirement of Conductor and AB cable are decreased from the scope of work and. the same is adjusted towards building up some future infrastructure under DDUGIY scheme to accommodate connections under SAUBHAGYA scheme. A sheet showing (+/-) Variation for major items have been attached Considering all the above reasons for variation, the estimated cost (supply & Erection) comes to (+) 7.4% above the LOA value, which seems to be justified The matter has also been discussed with the Project Manager, North 24 Parganas RE Project.
