DEFINITION OF TERMS

For a better understanding of this study, the following terms are defined in the
context of this research.

Impact. It refers to the effects of being pregnant at a young age, its positive and
negative effects in his life and in society.

Society. It is the group of people in the environment of the subject that will be
affected by this issue.

Academic Performance. The measurement of the achievement across various academic

subjects of a pregnant teenager.

Well – Nourished Female. An individual specifically a female that is having a healthy body and
lifestyle.

Conflicting Attitudes. It is a state when a teenager pregnant women are having trouble
fulfilling the responsibilities of being pregnant because they are not ready.

Sexually Active. Teenagers that are sexually active which becomes a factor in the increasing
rate of teenage pregnancy.

Academic Programs. Programs that are specifically designed to educated people about the
ongoing crisis regarding teenage pregnancy.
