CHAPTER 5

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

SUMMARY

The summary of the research findings drawn from the result of the study

are hereby enumerated: Online Mobile gaming can enhance you mental skills such as

problem solving, quick thinking, strategy and etc. Mobile Legends: Bang bang's

graphics and visual effect trigger violent tendencies. The said online mobile game can

cause various high-level thinking skills that they will need in the future. The mentioned

above mobile game also contributes in developing making kids smart and change the

brain’s physical structure the same way as do learning to read, playing the piano. This

research conducted to ICCT COLLEGES Angono Campus answered the survey by the

student who’d play Mobile Legends,and mostly of them answered that it can enhance

the learning skills. Student tend to play the game just to have a good time with their

friends and and give them a satisfaction by winning the game.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The study was carried out to investigate the effect in Academic Performance of online

or virtual games specifically;Mobile Legends. On a population of ICCT College, Angono

Campus,Rizal to be able to cope up with the good and bad of online recreational

activities and aid the “online game addiction” by knowing the specific adverse effects on

an individual.
More specifically, result from this study could help benefits the following:

To the Parents, as your child plays Mobile Legends, if you should allow them in playing

it, they must have the proper playing of it. it gives his brain a real workout. In many

video games including Mobile Legends, the skills required to win involve abstract and

high level thinking. These skills are not even taught at school.

To the research,to be able to be more aware of the rising cases and be of help in

knowing the specific details and contributing to obtained knowledge for the betterment

of everyone.

To the future researcher,for them to have a basis in discovering more potential and

specific treatment to the cases mentioned.

CONCLUSION

Some experts also believe that the effect of video game violence is worsened by

the games’ interactive nature. In many games, they are rewarded for being more

violent. The act of violence is done repeatedly. The player is in control of the violence

and experiences the violence in his own eyes (killings, kicking, stabbing and

shooting). This active participation, repetition and reward are effective tools for

learning behavior.

As you have probably noticed by now if you have gone through other parts of

the research, there are many conflicting thoughts and even studies regarding this

topic. It leads to believe that there are multiple factors that result in the effects

these studies are showing us. Mobile Legends is a way to express one's self. You

control your character, you decide how they will act, you choose how they will
respond. It is not a simple answer that all video games are bad or all video games are

good. The effects of video games, positive or negative, depend on several factors,

the most major one being you and how you play the game. Video games, by

themselves, have little to no effect on you mentally, but what you do and how you

react can.

We would like to end this chapter in a manner similar to the way in which it began: by

pointing out that mobile legends are not inherently bad and restating the veracity with

which these conclusions are reported. While not the focus of the current chapter,

there are a number of psychological and social benefits to mobile game. The

negative outcomes we have described in this chapter rely on the same basic

psychological processes that are known to produce positive outcomes. Other benefits

of certain types of games, such as improvements in the useful field of view, may

partially be responsible for the decrements in other areas, such as proactive

executive control.

RECOMMENDATION

Many parents attempt to manage their children's television-viewing habits. Parents

can similarly manage their children's electronic game-playing experiences when they:

* Know the content and procedures of their children's games;

* Read the literature that accompanies video game products;

* Discuss game content with their children;

* Pay attention to video game rating systems;


* Observe their children playing the games and periodically play their children's

games;

* Establish explicit game-playing guidelines, including limiting their children's

game-playing time;

* Educate their children about the differences between media and real-life violence
