A. SENSE OF PERINOLOGY ROOM

The room of perinatology/ baby is a special care unit for

newborns with problems that last up to a month of age.

B. THREE LEVES OF BABY CARE

Handling neonatal cases must be carried out in a special
treatment room consisting of three levels, based on the degree of
pain, risk of problems and the need for supervision.
1. The first level is for low risk babies, in other words normal
babies care with mothers.
2. Level II for high risk babies but supervision does not need
intensive. At this level the baby is supervised by a 24-hour
nurse, but the ratio of nurses and babies does not need to be 1-
1.
3. While at level III, the supervision carried out is really extra tight.
One nurse on duty can only handle one patient for 24 hours
straight.
