CLEANING TOOLS

Abrasives
− They are the sharpening stones or
grit papers used to polish metal or
wooden surfaces. There are various
abrasives depending upon the size
of grit and adhesion of grit
particles on the paper.

Bucket

- A water bucket is used to carry


water. Household and
garden buckets are used for
carrying liquids and granular
products.

Sponge

- A sponge is a tool or cleaning aid


made of soft, porous material.
Typically used for cleaning
impervious surfaces, sponges are
especially good at absorbing water
and water-based solutions
SQUEEGE

- a blade of leather or rubber set on a handle


and used for spreading, pushing, or wiping liquid
material on, across, or off a surface (such as a
window).

Caddies

- are perfect for carrying tools or cleaning.


Used in carry cleaning items as you move
from room to room. You can fill it with your
various cleaning products, rags, scrubbers
and toothbrushes so everything is handy
when you need it.

Microfiber cleaning cloths

- It is important to have microfiber cleaning


cloths, they are as important as having white
towels.

It could be super helpful to keep them in your


home at all times. With microfiber you can keep
the surfaces clean with just a little water. It
won’t scratch or leave streaks behind.
Grout Brush

- is great for grout and corners. The cone


shape helps to reach in tight spaces, and the
stiff bristles scrub away tough stains.

Dustbins
− They are used to collect daily garbage
produced in the hotel.

Chambermaid’s
Trolley/Housekeeping Trolley

− This trolley is large enough to keep


all the guest room and guest
bathroom supplies in an organized
manner. It makes the housekeeping
staff to move it around and carry
large number of items in one go while
keeping and cleaning the guest rooms.
Polishing Machine

− They are used to add a shine to the floors of


most frequented areas of the hotel.

Vapor Cleaning Machine

− They are used where the


chemical odors are not desired.
They are equipped for continuous
operation. They heat up quickly
and work with low amount of
moisture. They kill the beg bugs
and their eggs, the yielding a
completely clean environment.

Box Sweeper

− It is electric sweeper that consists of a


friction brush. The brush often is fit to revolve
vertically or horizontally, when the equipment
moves on the surface. It can clean floors as well
as carpets. The wider the better is the box
sweeper brush.
Insect repellent/ Insect Sprayer

- is a substance applied to skin, clothing, or other


surfaces which discourages insects (and arthropods
in general) from landing or climbing on that surface.

It is used for projection of water, weed killers, crop


performance materials, pest maintenance chemicals,
as well as manufacturing and production line
ingredients.

Vinegar

− It is used in removing light stains in the bath.

Muriatic acid

- it is effectively removes hard water deposits


from stone and tiles.
Degreaser

− This is mainly used in bars to remove the marks


of grease and lipstick that cannot be removed by
traditional washing of glasses and cups.
Degreaser restores the surface shine and
transparency of the glasses and bowls.

CARPET SHAMPOO

- is a highly concentrated suds solution which is


versatile in removing heavy dirt and soils that
can support bacterial growth and cause
malodors.

CARPET STAIN REMOVER (WATER BASED)

- is a liquid compound containing mineral


solvents with a special non-toxic emulsifier and
surfactant formulated to soften and remove
grease, oil and accumulated dirt in carpet and
upholstery.
CLEANING CHEMICALS

Cleaning Detergent (Liquid bleach)

- Cleaning agent that helps to remove dirt and


grease from porous surfaces (such as fabrics,
clothes, non-treated wood) and/or non-porous
surfaces (such as metals, plastics, treated
wood). All detergents are made principally
of soaps or surfactants.

Clean Air Sprays

− They are best for freshening the hotel


corridors, washrooms, bathrooms, and reception
areas. These sprays remove the pungent smell of
tobacco, smoke, and organic wastes.
Wet or wet/dry vacuum cleaners

- are a specialized form of the


cylinder/drum models that can be used to
clean up wet or liquid spills. They are
generally designed to be used both
indoors and outdoors and to accommodate
both wet and dry debris; some are also
equipped with an exhaust port or
detachable blower for reversing the
airflow, a useful function for everything
from clearing a clogged hose to blowing
dust into a corner for easy collection.

Scarifiers

- also called surface planers or


milling machines, remove concrete faster
and more aggressively than grinders. That's
because they use the pummeling action of
multi-tipped cutting wheels, or flails, that
rotate at high speeds to chip away at the
concrete surface.

Scrubbing Machine
− It is a floor care accessory that comes
with handheld electrically operated
scrubber. It is used where only mopping
doesn’t suffice. It can scrub stubborn and
sticky stains on the floors of cafeterias,
restaurants, lobbies, and fitness areas
where people can take food and
beverages.
CLEANING EQUIPMENTS

Carpet Dryer

- It utilises water as a filter which traps


the dust and other impurities, ensuring
not only maintained suction power, but
also keeps your home and the air that you
breathe clean. Using water as a new filter
every time you vacuum results in optimal
filtration and maintained suction power.

Carpet Extractor

- is an electric-powered carpet cleaning machine


that uses hot water, detergent, a powered scrub
brush and strong suction to extract deeply
embedded dirt from wall-to-wall carpeting.
