Dust may accumulate on the fluorescent surface of the REGIUS Plate, and may result in a defective
image. To avoid such trouble, try to keep the cassette clean, and clean the REGIUS Plate once a
week.
Cleaning should be carried out on a level surface where it is not exposed to direct sunlight. Take
care to avoid damage to either the cassette or the REGIUS Plate.
Cleaning procedure of the REGIUS Plate is detailed below.

When the life of the erase halogen lamp is ended, the message "LAMP'S LIFE LITTLE. CHANGE
LAMP" is displayed on the message display window. When the erase halogen lamp is burned out,
the message "LAMP BurnOut. CHANGE" is displayed.
In these cases, replace the erase lamp unit with the following procedure.
Immediately after the lamp is turned OFF, the erase lamp unit is
very hot. To avoid burns, do not touch the lamp unit.
Because the cassette erasing immediately before may not be
completed, erasing process needs to be carried out after the
error is handled.
The unit with the halogen lamp burned out cannot use a
14×17-inch cassette. Erasing time also takes longer.
Hint
• Erase lamp unit package includes tools for replacement (handle and
wrench).
