Story 07 - Imam Hasan (a.

s)

One day, Imam Hasan (a.s) was going to the Masjid ‫ایک روز امام حسن مسجد جا رہے تھے۔‬
He saw a black faced servent on the way
‫راستے میں انہوں نے ایک سیاہ چہرے والے‬
‫غلم کو دیکھا‬
that he is sitting at the corner of the street ‫کہ گلی کے کنارے پر بیٹھا ہوا ہے‬
and have a piece of bread in his hand ‫اور ہاتھ میں ایک روٹی کا ٹکڑہ ہے‬
from which, he is eating one bite
‫جس میں سے وہ ایک لقمہ توڑ کے خود کھا رہا‬
‫ہے‬

and the other bite is feeding to the dog, sitting near to him
‫اور دوسرا لقمہ ایک بھوکے کتتے کو کھل رہا ہے‬
‫جو اس کے قریب میں بیٹھا ہے۔‬

Hazrat saw this situation, then go ahead ‫حضرت نے اس منظر کو دیکھا تو آگے بڑھے‬
and went near that servent and said ‫اور اس غلم کے قریب تشریف لئے اور کہا ۔‬
‫"?‪Oh servent, "Why are you doing like this‬‬ ‫ووواووم ووووکوو انجام دیتے ہو"‬
‫ووویوووں اس ک‬
‫"اے غلم ک‬
‫‪Servent said‬‬ ‫غلم نے جواب دیا۔‬
‫‪My Master, this dog is also hungry and I feel‬‬ ‫میرے آقا ےیہ ووو تکتووا ووووبھوویووووبھوووکا ہے اور مجھے "‬
‫‪shame‬‬ ‫وورووووم آتیہے‬
‫ش‬
‫خدا وندد عالم کی دی ہوئی نعمت کو کھا کےاپنا‬
‫پیٹ بھر لوں‬
‫اور یہ ک اتتا بھوکا رہ جائے اور ا ادتمید کی نظروں‬
‫"سے مجھے دیکھتا رہے۔‬

‫‪When Hazrat listen to the servent‬‬ ‫حضرت نے جب غلم کی یہ باتیں سنیں‬

‫‪He got surprised on the respect and manners of servent‬‬
‫تو انہیں اس غلم کے ادب اور اخلق پر بہت‬
‫جب ہوا۔‬
‫تع ت‬
‫‪He asked servent‬‬ ‫انہوں نے غلم سے پوچھا۔‬
‫?‪Oh servent, who is your master‬‬ ‫وووووونہے؟"‬
‫"اے غلموووویتوورا مول ک‬
‫‪_____________, whose shop is in this street. He is my‬‬ ‫ووولوویمیں ہے۔ "‬
‫وولوووہار‪ ،‬وہیجسووویک دوکان اس گ‬
‫‪master‬‬
‫کہے‬‫" وہیمیرا موولا‬
‫حضرت اس لوہار کی دوکان کی طرف تشریف‬
‫‪Hazrat went to the shop of _________, and wanted‬‬
‫‪_______ to sell the servent‬‬ ‫لے گئے اور اس لوہار سے چاہا کے وہ اس غلم‬
‫کو بیچے۔‬
‫‪___________ said‬‬
‫‪If you like this servent, you can take him.‬‬
‫اور میری طرف سےفرزندد زہرا کوہدیہ دے‬
‫‪and grant him to the son of Zehra (s.a) from me‬‬
‫‪Imam Hasan (a.s) gave the payment of servent to‬‬
‫‪______________.‬‬
‫‪and bought that servent and said to the servent‬‬
‫‪While you are my property now‬‬
‫‪I have already bought you‬‬
‫‪for the hapiness of God, I make you free‬‬
‫‪My master, how got I free‬‬
‫?‪why did you make me free‬‬
‫‪Hazrat call the servent and said‬‬
‫‪My son, you feel shame when you see a humgry dog‬‬
‫‪then I feel shame too when he looks me free‬‬
‫تو مجھے بھی اپنے خدا سے شرم آتی ہے کہ وہ‬
‫لوہار نے کہا۔‬
‫اگر یہ غلم آپ کو اچھا لگے تو لے لیجئے‬
‫"دیجئے‬
‫امام حسن نے لوہار کو اس غلم کی قیمت‬
‫ادا کی‬
‫اور اس غلم کو لے لیا اور اس غلم سے فرمایا۔‬
‫اب جبکہ تو میرا مال ہے‬
‫اور میں تیری قیمت ادا کر چکا ہوں‬
‫تجھے خدا کی رضا کے لئےآزاد کرتا ہوں۔‬
‫میرے آقا میرے مولیہ کس طرح میں آزاد ہو گیا۔‬
‫میرے کرم فرماں‪ ،‬آپ نے کیوں آزاد کر دیا۔‬
‫حضرت نے غلم کو قریب بٹھایااور کہا‬
‫چے جب تمہیں ایک بھوکے کتتے کو‬ ‫میرے ب ت‬
‫دیکھ کر شرم آتی ہے‬
‫مجھے آزاد دیکھے‬
‫‪and find you servent‬‬
‫اور تم کو اسیری اور غلمی میں جکڑا ہوا‬
‫دیکھے۔‬

‫‪My master, your character resembles the character of‬‬ ‫میرے آقا آپ کے کردار میں پیغمبدر اسلم کے‬
‫)‪Prophet of Islam (s.a.w.w‬‬ ‫کردار کی جھلک آتی ہے۔‬

‫?‪Are you the one of his children‬‬ ‫کیا آپ‪ ،‬کیا آپ اان کے فرزندوں میں سے ہیں۔‬
‫‪Hazrat said‬‬ ‫حضرت نے جواب دیا۔‬
‫‪Yes, Its like that, I am the son of the daugheter (s.a) of‬‬ ‫وووپیووغمبر "‬ ‫وول کلایسا ہیہے‪،‬میں حسن‬
‫ووووا‬
‫ہاں ب‬
‫)‪Prophet (s.a.w.w‬‬
‫ووواووبیٹا ہوں۔‬
‫ک‬ ‫"ووویک دختر‬
‫جی ‪،‬کریم اور مہربان امام اور کریم اور مہربان‬
‫پیغمبر کے نیک نواسے۔‬

‫‪When Hazrat listened to the servent then he made a‬‬ ‫حضرت نے جب غلم کی بات اسنی تو ااس‬
‫‪garden for him‬‬ ‫غلم کے لئے ایک چھوٹے سے باغ کو تیار کیا‬

‫‪so that he could work in this garden and spend his life‬‬ ‫تاکہ وہ اس باغ میں کام کر کے اپنی زندگی‬
‫‪respectfully‬‬ ‫عتزت کے ساتھ اگزار سکے۔‬

 Story 09 - Imam Hussein (a.s)

Yazeed ki Baiyyat se Inkaar

After Mu'awiyah's death, Yazeed sent a letter to the ruler of Madina

that I give you orders that ask Imam Hussein (a.s) immediately for allegiance,

and if he refuses to accept allegiance, then kill him.

And send his head to me

When the ruler of Medina received that letter, he got very surprised

because he knew that Hussein (a.s) will not accept allegiance of Yazid.

But on the other hand, how was it possible to ignore Yazid's order

So, He advised Marwan and both reached the result that

Invite Hussein (a.s) and ask him accept allegiance on behalf of Yazid.

When Imam Hussein (a.s) came to know that Yazeed wanted allegiance to him,

Imam understood that Mu'awiyah had become hell.

And the people of Bani Umayyah want allegiance to the Hazrat for Yazeed

Hazrat (a.s) wanted some Banu Hashims to go to the house of ruler of Madina with him

and said to him I will go into the house and if you listen to my voice

Enter into the house and remove me (take me away) from my life enemies.

Hazrat (a.s) entered the house and saw Waleed and Marvan both are sitting on one side.

Hazrat (a.s) said.

Closeness is better than the distance.

and how good it is, to maintain peace and patience

that God may make peace among you.
Aba Abdillah al-Hussein (a.s) today got news of the death of my uncle
brother.

Imam Hussein (a.s) said.

‫دإ تنا لل ده نو دإ تنا دإ ل ني يده نرا دجعو نن‬

and this is the letter which came from Yazeed

and asked for the allegiance to you for Yazeed

Its better for you, not to disobey his order

and don't create differences among people

Imam Said

I am sure the allegiance is not beneficial for Yazeed, if am alone

and you want I accept allegiance in front of all openly

yes, Its like that

Imam said
Permit me so that I could think about it till tomorrow

I will reply you tomorrow

Waleed said, you are allowed to go today

but tomorrow morning, gather all people, and accept allegiance in front of all

Marvan interrupted and said

Don’t allow Hussein (a.s) to go today otherwise you will not find him again

but only when many of your people will be killed

The son of Hakam, what is your opinion?

Arrest him

and take allegiance by force or cut his neck

Imam (a.s) said

Oh son of Saad, you want to kill me or he?

I swear to God, none of you both can kill me

The people of Bani Hashim, who were gathered outside the house, entered with the swords when
they listen the loudly voice of Imam (a.s)

Marvan couldn’t said anything due to fear/ pressure.

and Hazrat (a.s) came back from the house of Waleed

and that’s the way, Imam Hussein (a.s) highlighted the evil plans of Yazeed and Marvan among
people.

‫معاویہ کی موت کے بعد یزید نے مدینہ کے حاکم کو ایک‬
‫خط بھیجاکہ‬
‫میں تجھے حکم دیتا ہوں کہ میری جانب سے فور ا ا امام‬
‫حسین سے بیعت طلب کرو‬
‫اور اگر انہوں نے بیعت سے دینےسےانکار کیا تو ان کو‬
‫قتل کر دینا‬
‫اور ان کے سر کو میرے پاس بھیجنا۔‬

‫حاک دم مدینہ کو جب یہ خط مل تو وہ بہت حیرت زدہ ہوا‬

‫کیونکہ جانتا تھا کے حسین وہ نہیں ہیں کہ یزید سے‬
‫بیعت کریں‬

‫لیکن دوسری طرف سے کیسے ممکن تھا کہ یزید کے‬

‫دیئے ہوئے حکم کی نا فرمانی کرے‬

‫اس لئے اس نے مروان سے مشورہ کیااور دونوں اس‬

‫نتیجہ پر پہنچےکہ‬
 ‫حسین کو دعوت دے اور ان سے یزید کی جانب‬
‫سےبیعت طلب کرے۔‬
‫کوجب یہ خبر ملی کہ یزید ان سے‬ ‫امام حسین‬
‫بیعت چاہتا ہے‬
‫تو امام سمجھ گئے کہ معاویہ واص دل جہنم ہو گیا ہے۔‬
‫اور بنی امیہ کے لوگ یزید کے لئے حضرت کی بیعت‬
‫چاہتے ہیں‬

‫حضرت نے کچھ بنی ہاشمیوں سے چاہا کہ ان کے ساتھ‬

‫مدینے کے حاکم کے گھر چلیں‬

‫اور ان سے فرمایا میں گھر میں جاؤں گاا ور اگر تم میری‬

‫آواز سننا‬
‫توتم بھی گھر میں داخل ہو جانااور میرے جانی دشمنوں‬
‫سے مجھے دور کرنا‬

‫حضرت گھر میں داخل ہوئے اور دیکھا کے ولید اور مروان‬
‫دونوں ایک طرف بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں۔‬

‫حضرت نے فرمایا۔‬

‫نزدیکی دوری سے بہتر ہے‬

‫اور کتنا اچھا ہوکہ ہم صلح اور خیر کا دامن تھامے رہیں‬
 ‫کہ خدا تمہارے درمیان صلح قرار دے‬
‫ابا عبداللہ د الحسین آج شام سے میرے چچا زاد بھائی‬
‫کی موت کی خبر ملی۔‬
‫امام حسین نے فرمایا۔‬

‫دإ تنا لل ده نو دإ تنا دإ ل ني يده نرا دجعو نن‬

‫اور یہ وہ خط ہے جو یزید کی جانب سے آیا ہے‬

‫اور تم سے بیعت کا مطالبہ کیا ہے‬

‫بہتریہی ہے کہ اس حکم کی خلف ورزی نہ کرو‬

‫اور لوگوں مین اختلف ایجاد نہ کرو‬

‫امام نے فرمایا‬
‫مجھے یقین ہے کہ اکیلے میں میری بیعت یزید کے لئے‬
‫فائدہ مند نہیں ہے‬
‫اور تم چاہتے ہو کہ میں اللعلن اورسب کے سامنے‬
‫کی بیعت کروں‬ ‫اس‬
‫بالکل‪ ،‬ایسا ہی ہے‬

‫امام حسین نے فرمایا‬

 ‫مجھے اجازت دو تاکہ کل تک اس بارے میں کچھ‬
‫سوچوں۔‬
‫میں تمہارا جواب کل دونگا‬

‫ولید نے کہا آج تو آپ کو جانے کی اجازت ہے‬

‫لیکن کل صبح سب کو اکٹھا کیجئے اورسب کے سامنے‬
‫بیعت کیجئے‬
‫مروان نے اس بیچ کہا‬

‫ارے آج حسین کواپنے ہاتھ سے جانے نہ دوورنہ یہ‬

‫تمہارے چنگل میں آنے والے نہیں‬

‫مگر یہ کہ تمہارےبہت سے افراد مارے جائیں گے‬

‫فرزن دد حکم تمہارا کیا مشورہ ہے؟‬

‫دانہیں قید کر لو‬

‫اور زبردستی ان سے بیعت لے لوورنہ گردن ااڑا دو۔‬

‫امام حسین نے فرمایا‬

‫اے پس در سعد تم مجھے مارنا چاہتے ہویا وہ؟‬

‫خدا کی قسم تم دونوں میں سے کوئی بھی مجھے قتل‬
‫نہیں کر سکتا‬
‫کی‬ ‫بنی ہاشم کے لوگ جوگھر کے باہر جمع تھےامام‬
‫بلندآواز سن کر اپنی تلواروں کو لے کر اندر داخل ہو‬
‫گئے۔‬

‫مروان خوف کے مارے کچھ کہہ نہ سکا‬

‫اورحضرت‪ ،‬ولید کے گھر سے واپس لوٹ آئے۔‬

‫اور اس طرح سے امام حسین نے یزید اور مروان‬

‫کےشیطانی منصوبوں کو لوگوں کے درمیان آشکار کیا۔‬

Bounteousness of Generosity/ Extreme of Generosity

‫امام حسین تمام مسلمانوں کے لئےجو آزادی‬
Imam Hussein (a.s) is an ideal personality for those
muslims who wants freedom ‫کی چاہت رکھتے ہیں ان کے لئے نمونہ عمل‬
‫ہیں‬
Because the Event of Karbala is the manifestation of the
common attributes of his Imamat./
‫کیوں کہ واقعہ کربل ان کی امامت کی عام‬
Because the incident of Karbala reflects the general ‫صفات کا مظہر ہے۔‬
attributes of his Imamat.

Attributes like courtesy, generosity, forgiveness, knowledge ‫ علم اور‬،‫ بخشش‬،‫ سخاوت‬،‫صفتیں جیسے کرم‬
and bravery etc. ‫شجاعت وغیرہ‬

People tell an event (incident/ story) about the generosity ‫لوگ امام حسین کی سخاوت کے بارے میں‬
of Imam Hussein (a.s) ‫ایک واقعہ بیان کرتے ہیں‬

One day a man came to (at) the gate of Imam Hussein's ‫ایک دن ایک مرد امام حسین کے گھر کے‬
house and asked ‫دروازے پر آیااور عرض کیا‬

I do not have anything to sell and get something./ I don't ‫میرے پاس کوئی چیز نہیں ہےکہ اسے بیچ کر‬
have anything that I could sell and get something. ‫کچھ حاصل کر سکوں‬
While I am hungry and thirsty ‫جبکہ میں بھوکہ اور پیاسہ ہوں‬
And I need your support/ help from you
The Imam (a.s) said, "O slave, whatever is
present in the treasure/ accounts, bring/
present for this person."
My master's there are only 9,000 Dirhams in
the treasure/ accounts.
The Imam (a.s) said, Receive this little amount
from us and protect your prestage.
He got very happy and moved back,
because he did not see such a wealth/ big
amount in his entire life
He is the same Imam Hussein (a.s) who was kiiled by the
hands of Bani Umayyah (l.a), thirsty.
because he did not pledge on the hands of a person like
Yazid (l.a)
So, how would Imam Hussein (a.s), the son of Imam Ali
(a.s) baiyat of Yazid (l.a) who was drunk and gambler.
‫اور آپ سے مدد کا طلبگار ہوں‬
‫امام نے فرمایا اے غلم جو کچھ بھی خزانے‬
‫میں موجود ہے اس شخص کے لئے حاضر کرو۔‬
‫ ہزار درہم ہیں‬9 ‫میرے آقا خزانے میں صرف‬
‫امام نے فرمایا اس ناچیز مقدار کوہم سے وصول‬
‫کرو اور اپنی آبرو کی حفاظت کرو‬
‫وہ بہت خوش ہوا اور وہاں سے چل پڑا‬
‫کیوں کے اس نے پوری زندگی میں اتنا مال نہیں‬
‫دیکھا تھا‬
‫یہ وہی امام حسین ہیں جو بنی امیہ کے‬
‫ہاتھوں پیاسے مارے گئے‬
‫کیوں کے اپ نے یزید جیسے انسان کے ہاتھوں‬
‫پر بیعت نہیں کی تھی‬
‫اس طرح امام حسین جو امام علی کے فرزند‬
‫ہیں اور یزید جیسا انسان جو شرابی اور جواری‬
‫تھا اس کی بیعت کرتے۔‬
