The authors should clarify following points and revise the manuscript accordingly before
publication:

1. (a) and (b) parts should be clearly pointed in the Figure 2.

2. The figure 3 shows the particle distribution rather than the particle morphology. On Page 7,
section 3.2, line 1, authors write “the morphology of Ti particles”. Is it Ti particles or TiC particles?
Because after solidification TiC would be formed.

3. In Figure 5, the hardness of 0.3Ti steel increases from 467 to 483, but on page 10 line 6,
authors write “0.3Ti steel increases from 447 to 483”. Check and correct this.

4. (a) and (b) parts should be clearly pointed in the Figure 6.

5. (a) and (b) parts should be clearly pointed in the Figure 7.

6. The legends should be clearly depicted in the Figure 8.

7. What is the rationale behind choosing cooling rate of 3, 30, 300oC/min. How these cooling
rates were selected?
