List of measured values for alarm sources from onboard supply control unit
in Golf from 2009
Under "Read measured values" in the onboard supply control unit J519, the last, one before last
and two before last alarm sources that triggered the alarm can be interrogated. With these
measured values, false alarms and possibly also faults in the anti-theft alarm system can
thereby be localised!
Included with the alarm triggering reasons in the measured values are also date, time and
mileage.

Measured value 0-255 Reason for alarm triggering/alarm source/remedial measures

0 Driver door contact

1 Front passenger door contact

2 Rear left door contact

3 Rear right door contact

4 Tailgate

5 Bonnet
With all measured values for bonnet or door switches, water
damage or an unfavourable mechanical setting could be the cause!

6 Rear window (only optional)

7 Pull off connector from trailer/bike carrier

With this measured value, an oxidised connector on the trailer or an
earth fault in the trailer socket/trailer electrics could be the cause!

20 Interior monitoring system.

If the vehicle is parked in unfavourable locations with strong noise or
wind, the sensitivity of the interior monitoring system can be
adapted in guided fault finding!

21 Tilt sensor
The measured value can also be stored if the vehicle was
transported on a ferry, for example!
During vehicle transport on a ferry or car train, the tilt angle sensor
should therefore be deactivated!

22 Backup alarm horn was disconnected or has a loose contact.

40 Unauthorised activation of ignition

The ignition was switched on without the authorised key being
detected.

41 Power on reset
Control units that are relevant for the anti-theft alarm system were
disconnected or the Gateway was disconnected.
With this measured value, it is also possible that a control unit will
miss a command or fail.
Caution: If the battery is or was discharged, this measured value
might also be stored!

255 No alarm (delivery status)

Please check whether the measured values are recorded in a document accordingly depending
on the diagnosis software status.
