Chapter 5

Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation

This chapter contains three parts, namely: (1) Summary of the

problems, methods, and findings; (2) Conclusions, and (3)

Recommendations.

Part One, Summary of the problems, methods, and findings,

shows the general and specific statements of the problem, methods

used and the findings of the study.

Part Two, Conclusions, presents the generalizations that have

been come up after the analysis and interpretation of data.

Part Three, Recommendations, presents the possible suggestion

on how others can benefit and use the result of the study in the

different fields and possible areas for future research.

Summary of the problems, Methods and Findings

This study aims to find out the effect of daily

allowance in the academic performance of Grade 12 4P’s

students in Ivisan National High School for the School

Year 2018-2019.

Specific Statement

Specifically, it aims to find out:


1. What is the daily allowance of Grade 12 4P’s students

in Ivisan National High School for the S.Y. 2018-2019

when classify according to age, sex, and section?

2. What is the academic performance of Grade 12 4P’s

students in Ivisan National High School for the S.Y.

2018-2019 when classify according to age, sex, and

section?

3. What is the level of effect of daily allowance to the academic

performance of Grade 12 4P’s students in Ivisan National

High School for the S.Y. 2018-2019 when classify

according to age, sex and section?

4. Is there any significant difference in the daily

allowance of Grade 12 4P’s students in Ivisan National

High School for the S.Y. 2018-2019 when classify

according to age , sex, and section?

5. Is there any significant difference in the academic

performance of Grade 12 4P’s students in Ivisan National

High School for the S.Y. 2018-2019 when classify

according to age, sex, and section?

6. Is there a significant relationship between daily

allowance and academic performance of Grade 12 4P’s

students in Ivisan National High School for the S.Y.

2018-2019?
The participants of this study were the Grade 12 4P’s students

of Ivisan National High School for the school year 2018-2019. Out

of 242 students in Grade 12, there is only 78 4P’s students from

both sexes. The respondents had been taken through non-random

sampling technique, via purposive sampling.

The researchers used researchers-made questionnaires in order

to get information and needed data from the respondents. The

questionnaire consist of two parts, first part is the student’s

personal profile was attached to gather data on name, age, sex,

section, daily allowance. The second part is the table that

consists of 10 questions about the data needed. Then, the academic

performance of the respondents was attached to gather data from

the advisers. To ensure that the survey questionnaire is valid and

reliable, it had undergone with validity and reliability test.
