SCENE 1:
Fade out of song as HOST begins to talk.
HOST
You’re listening to Gold radio, that was
the UK top 40, with your host Patrick
McKenzie. To finish off this evening I’d
like to announce a very special guest.
Through legal loopholes that I cannot
broadcast, we have managed to secure an
exclusive interview with an escaped
convict all the way from Russia. He was
charged with murder but profusely claims
his innocence, please welcome Vadim
Vladakovski.
CO-HOST
Please have a seat it’s a pleasure to meet
you.
VADIM
(Russian accent)
Hello, it is nice to be able to come on
your show.
HOST
So, Vadim, you were imprisoned for murder
but you swear innocence, how can you back
up your claim?
VADIM
I had nothing to do with murder.
CO-HOST
Yes, but how can you prove this, we’re
here to give you a voice.
VADIM
I’m not murderer, I never met the victim
before, I spend every day at the workshop.

See the thing is Vadim, there is mountains
of evidence stacked against you, we
brought you here today to prove everyone
wrong, so far you have been very
uncooperative.
VADIM
(Shouts something in Russian,
clearly getting angry)
How dare you accuse me; I am innocent this
is setup!
CO-HOST
Calm down Vadim this isn’t a setup and we
aren’t accusing you of anything, its just
as of right now you aren’t really helping
your case. If we can prove your innocence
you will be pardoned!
VADIM
(Pulls out a knife)
Enough of your games, I will slaughter you
all.
CO-HOST
(Butting in and backing away
from the microphone)
Holy shit he’s got a knife!
SCENE 2:
VADIM begins to attack CO-HOST, A mixture of stab sounds
and screams ensue.
HOST:
(HOST begins to mic himself
up)
This is insane, my ratings will be through
the roof!
HOST begins to run, hearing VADIM catching up behind him.
