Upcoming Events
“The Not-So-Silent Night” Please come out and
support the students of Praise Temple Christian
Academy as they put on The Not So Silent Night, in
honor of the Christmas season and of the Christ who
came. They are working very hard to make this
production something worth watching and we would
much prefer to watch it with you. The program will
take place on Thursday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m
Voices of Praise Christmas Choir practice is under
way, but it is not too late for you to be a part of it.
Each Wednesday evening at 8:00, the Voices of
Praise will meet together to prepare for this year's
Christmas special, All Bow Down, which will take
place on Sunday, December 19, during the morning
worship service at 10:45 AM.
Christmas Party It is again time for Christmas and
all the festivities that go along with it, including the
Praise Temple Christmas Party. We will be meeting
on Friday, December 17th at 7:00 PM for an evening
of fellowship, celebrating the advent of our Lord.
Please bring a wrapped gift for a “Yankee swap” as
well as a covered dish so that there will be
something to share with everyone.
New Year's Eve Party You probably don't need us
tell you the date of the church New Year's Eve Party.
Join us at 10:00 PM around the campfire as we have
a time of fellowship and pray in the New Year. Bring
the food you want to cook/roast over the open fire.

Outreach Class
Be sure to check out the new adult, video based
Sunday school class, “FULL FLAME,” which already
has the people talking. Utilizing curriculum by highly
successful evangelist Reinehart Bunke, this is a
special time that you really ought not miss.

Busy Wednesday
If you would like to improve your abilities as a public
speaker, to refine your oratorical skill, and thereby
enhance your potential effectiveness for the Kingdom
of God, then come out Wednesday evenings at 6:00
p.m. and learn from one of the very best. Dr. R.K.
Pier is teaching the science (or is it an art?) of
sermon preparation weekly. A man who has trained
preachers serving around the globe can train you
too. Come on out and be a part of it.
Or, if this is not an area where you desire training,
then join in a time of corporate prayer, also at 6 p.m.
Then at 7:00, Dr. Pier transitions into a time of
teaching the Word of God. You do not want to miss
out on the insight this man of God will bring your
way. There is something for everyone so don't miss
out on mid-week fellowship.
Empowered Men & The Women of Praise
It is time again for the Empowered Men & the
Women of Praise to meet. This takes place on the
first Thursday of each month and is just around the
corner (December 2nd). The women will hear from
Sister Algreta Beason, and will surely be blessed by
her ministry. The ladies will plan for the upcoming
Chicken Parmesan dinner while the guys will prepare
to hold a yard sale.
Coming this January – the Daniel Fast
tells us to eat, we will increase our health and the
quality of our lives. This January our church is once
again challenged to participate in the Daniel Fast.
You will not regret taking up the opportunity to
change your diet and your life.
