It creates a new Critical Path of 31 days consisting of activities S-A, A-D, D-I and I-F.

3 - If task DG took 8 days instead of 2 would that change the critical path? If so,
please describe the new critical path.

No.

4 – How late could task FI be before it affected the overall delivery date of the
project?

13 days BEFORE it affected the overall delivery. After 14 days it WOULD affect
the delivery date of the project.
5 – How many days will it take to complete the project?

14 Days.

6 - What activities are on the critical path?

A, B, D, F, and I.

7 - If activity G was completed one day early, would the overall project be
completed any faster?

No.

8 - If activity F was delayed by two days what effect would that have on the
overall project completion date?

The project completion date would also be delayed by two days.

9 – Using a piece of scrap paper, please draw a network diagram, using the
second of the above formats, based on the following work-breakdown
structure (WBS).
