1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To describe the procedure for Cleaning Tube Light Fixtures.

2.0 SCOPE:
This procedure is applicable to Cleaning Tube Light Fixtures at Marksans Pharma
Ltd, D-10, Kurkumbh.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES:
3.1 Electrical Engineer and Electrician are responsible for Cleaning Tube Light
Fixtures
3.2 Sr. Executive - Engineering is responsible for Implementation, Review of the
activity and training on SOP.

4.0 PROCEDURE:
4.1 TUBE LIGHT FIXTURE
4.1.1 Switch OFF the Isolating switch.
4.1.2 Remove the tube light cover and clean with duster.
4.1.3 Remove the tube light rods and clean with duster.
4.1.4 Clean the reflector with duster.
4.1.5 Refix tube light rod and cover.
4.1.6 Switch ON the Isolating switch and check the tubes for glowing, if
required rectify.
4.1.7 Tube light fixture cleaning is recorded in Tube Light fixture cleaning
Record as per Annexure- I.

4.2 FLAME PROOF TUBE LIGHT FIXTURE:

4.2.1 Switch OFF the isolating switch.
4.2.2 Remove the cover bolts.
4.2.3 Remove the tube holder, guards and glass.
4.2.4 Remove the tube light rods and clean with duster.
4.2.5 Clean the tube holder guards and glass with duster.
4.2.6 Refix the tube light rod, glass, guard, tube holder and cover bolts.
4.2.7 Switch ON the isolating switch and check the tubes for glowing, if
required rectify.
