Junior project leader

Key responsibilities:

The role supports the project and technology solutions team in evolve. The team manages a wide variety of
change and projects including systems and technology, process changes, regulatory changes, legal and
business restructuring.

 Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.


 Prepare and distribute materials for meetings and take accurate minutes.
 Providing administrative support as needed.
 Managing the team mailbox, logging and dealing with incoming requests.
 Take ownership for the departments small change programme, working with the teams to understand
any change requests received and run the change advisory board (CAB) meetings.
 Ensuring resources and equipment are always available
 Undertaking project tasks as required.
 Create test scripts as and when required.
 Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project team members as appropriate
 Providing information and regular support to stakeholders
 Providing support to project managers and programme leadership when requested

Skills and experience:


 An understanding of the project lifecycle
 Experience of working as an administrator in any context
 Confident in the use of IT systems and databases
 Demonstrate good attention to detail and be able to communicate well by telephone and e-mail
 Able to deal with high volume workload
 Have good keyboard skills
 Self-starting individual who is able to stay motivated
 Negotiating, influencing and customer care skills
 The ability to work independently and proactively

Key competencies:

 Operate effectively as part of a wider team, and a real team player


 A proactive and positive attitude
 Working knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft products
 Strong communication skills
 Experience of working in a financial services or regulated environment is an advantage
