1 System Overview
1.1 System features
The present system converts the saved communication data log of the SL
checker to logged data used in MentePC.
The converted logged data is then be used to draw graphs of outdoor and
indoor units, using saved data reading function of the MentePC.

 A set of data that includes one outdoor unit and 16 indoor units can be
converted to MentePC logged data.
 By changing the object units, other outdoor units and other indoor units
during the same time frame can be outputted.

2 Start up and shut down of SULME
2.1 Start up
Menu – Start – Program - SLChecker - SULME When SULME is clicked,
SULME main screen will appear

2.2 Shut down

Going in to Menu - Shut down or Main screen upper right hand corner X
button can be used.

3 Operating procedure
3.1 Files that require conversion
When Menu – File - Open is clicked file selection dialog box is shown.

Select the logged data (S01 file) that was saved by SL checker.

Address analysis can be put to break or pause by the button in the message
box.
When “Cancel analysis” click, Cancel Address analysis is cancel.
 However there can be cases where it may not be possible to detect all the
indoor and outdoor units in the network.

3.2 Set up of output conditions
After address analysis is completed, the list of outdoor units that were
detected will be shown on the main screen unit selection column.

The outdoor units that need to have data converted to MentePC logged data
are selected.

The indoor units that correspond to the selected outdoor units are shown in
the list.
 The outdoor unit can only be selected one at a time. If one outdoor unit is
selected the other outdoor units can not be selected. If another outdoor
unit must be selected the check mark must be removed and the other
outdoor unit must be selected.
 If the selected outdoor unit is an Sub (or slave) outdoor unit the
corresponding indoor units are not shown.

 Indoor unit that needs to have its data converted into MentePC data is
selected.

 Up to 16 indoor units can be selected. If 16 indoor units were already

selected, additional indoor units can not be selected. If certain indoor
units has to be selected, one of the already selected indoor units must
have check mark removed and the necessary indoor unit checked.
Sampling interval is set. Clicking on will pull down the menu.

Please check the appropriate seconds.

 Sampling interval is the minimum interval in which the data is

outputted to MentePC.

 Select the unit series that is to be outputted. When the button is clicked,
the unit series is shown.

Please pick the appropriate series.

* In case of KXRE4,KXRE6 and KXZR, please select “KXE4-6,KXZ”.

The setting of output conditions is now concluded.

3.3 Conversion
When the “Start convert” button of the main screen is clicked, logged data in
MentePC format will start to be generated.

During generation of the data the following message will be shown.

The conversion can be cancelled by the “Cancel convert” button.

 The converted file will be saved in the MentePC log of
“C:\ProgramFiles\SLChecker” install folder.
3.4 Opening the file by use of MentePC
To load converted MentePC data, MentePC RAM data for SLCK needs to be
copied. Copy the “RAMDATA_eSLCK.xls” that is in the install folder (default is
C:\Program Files) and paste it into “DATA_e” folder inside the MentePC
install folder.
After the logged data is converted, going through “saved data loading”, it can
be opened up by MentePC.

 3.5 Help
This material can be clicked by selecting help in the help menu.
 Need Acrobat Reader.
3.6 Version
Version number of SULME can be confirmed.

 In case questions must be sent please confirm the version number.

4 Attachment
4.1 How to use in Windows Vista or later
In addition to other Windows execution procedures you need the following
operations.
(1) Start up of SULME
Right click the SULME of the start menu or “SULME.exe.” of the install
folder (default is “C:\ProgramFiles\SLChecker”) the Right click the
property of the pop up menu.
Contents of the property will shown. Check mark the “execute the
program as administrator” that is in the “special privilege level” of the
“compatibility” tab. Without the check mark “MentePCLog” folder, logged
data for “MentePC” are not generated.
