ARTICLE CRITIQUE ON

THE LIFE OF A PRINCIPLE

INAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL.

As principle of an integrated school there were a lot of things i learned which i have never read from
books managing both elementary and high school under one compounded, one principal with no head
teacher, No office staff is both difficult but challenging in the sense that a principal must be versatile in
order to be able to cope with the double responsibility.

Whenever i met some supervisors,they would say you have a double responsibility and what do you
get? i would just smile at them: deep inside it ment that they would show their sympathy to my
situation.They never knew that the experience i gained with this kind of work is more valuable of work
and other responsibility.

The next few months were full of activity with the help of the new teachers who voluntered to type
some documents, With the coperation of the local government unit PTCA and the baranggay official we
were able to accomplish all the papers without much ado. However we needed to follow them up with
the regional office.

They returned twice with some comments such as "include the following documenT ",etc. bUt finally by
the middle of 2004 we got the approved permit to operate the high school in the place.

It was a great relief that we got the permit but just the same we needed to work hard even harder
befoRe because the permit was not absolute. There are conditions that must be met and maintained
regarding the achievement of quality education..

With this in mind, and considering the same resources, we really need to work hard in order to Meet the
conditions set by the higher office.If we started from zero and we were able to systain the operation of
the school fOr the last fur school years we are determined that we can do it.
We ask the lord to shower upon us the spirit of cooperation, for without it our dreams and aspiration for
quality education will remain a dream.

CRITIQUE: Whenever i met some this principal, is an integrated school, i realized this critique that
principal there will be with no head teacher, no office staff is both difficult but challenging in the sense
that a principal must be versatile in order to be able to cope with the double responsibility i realized
them because principal can make To reach goal of being a Principal through and through, one must be
obsessed by the ideas of embracing the responsibilities given to her.

Must of all the priOrity of principal they have so many worked on head teacher.Of the office staff they
can make more work about principal head teacher it because they already have to responsibilities and
they can porpuse to being a principal to commit thEM assigned course
