AUTOMATIC SPRINKLERSYSTEMS:-
• Automatic sprinkler systems are integrated fire suppression systems
consisting of a water supply and a network of pipes , sprinkler heads, and other
components to provide automatic fire suppression in areas of abuilding
• This system is the most effective for suppressing a Class A fires in buildings
containing ordinary combustible materials, such as wood , paper ,and plastics.
• The design and installation of the system are strictly regulated by insurance
companies and in accordance with fire codes.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER:-
• A Fire extinguisher is a device which can be used to control a fire. Fire
extinguishers can help remove the fire, and may stop it from burning.
• ROOM RADIATOR HEATER
CONVECTOR UNITS:-
• Air is blown over hot water pipes by fan.
• Very hot water can be used , which is efficient.
• Can be served by chilled water pipes from an air conditioning unit.
• Noisy but very good where intermittent use is needed.
2) STRUCTURAL DRAWING DETAILS
FOUNDATION – SHALLOW FOUNDATION
• SOIL TYPE – HARD CLAY
• A shallow foundation is one which is placed on a firm soil near the ground,
and beneath the lowest part of the superstructure.
• Flat roofs are an often lower cost and easier to install alternative option to
conventional pitched roofs. Flat roofs have to be built on a fall (with a
slight slope) so that water can still drain off. Flat roof is common choice
for every house

DOUBLE SKIN FAÇADE:-
• The use of sun control and shading devices is an important aspect of many
energy-efficient building design strategies. In particular, buildings that
employ passive solar heating or daylighting often depend on well-designed
sun control and shading devices.
• The design of effective shading devices will depend on the solar orientation
of a particular building facade. For example, simple fixed overhangs are
very effective at shading south-facing windows in the summer when sun
angles are high. However, the same horizontal device is ineffective at
blocking low afternoon sun from entering west-facing windows during peak
heat gain periods in the summer.
• Thus, solar control and shading can be provided by a wide range of
building components including:
• Landscape features such as mature trees or hedge rows;
• Exterior elements such as overhangs or vertical fins;
• Horizontal reflecting surfaces called light shelves;
• Low shading coefficient (SC) glass; and,
• Interior glare control devices such as Venetian blinds or adjustable louvers

• To properly design shading devices it is necessary to understand the
position of the sun in the sky during the cooling season. The position of
the sun is expressed in terms of altitude and azimuth angles.
• The altitude angle is the
angle of the sun above the
horizon, achieving its
maximum on a given day at
solar noon.
• The azimuth angle, also
known as the bearing
angle, is the angle of the
sun's projection onto the
ground plane relative to
south.
