The events season has well and truly started and what better
way to kick it off then the Shropshire Model Show at Cosford
Museum. This event was made even more special with the
first unveiling of the brand new tooling of the Lancaster.
Both the Dambuster Special and the BII versions were on display at the show, with the
exhibition of all of the Dambuster Lancasters complete in all their glory. Each individual
kit has been created and put on display with the story and details relating to the individual
aircraft and crew.
This commemoration to the Dambusters was on display in the main museum reception
and Airfix were proud that the launch of our new kit could be a part of it.
Amongst the Dambusters we also had many other kits on display. The event
was a fantastic success and we hope these pictures share a little of the day’s
events with you all.
