1. Inspect any damage or defective personal protective equipment

2. Test the function of each PPE.

3. Separate the nonfunctional and functional PPE. 4. Repair or replace the


nonfunctional PPE. 5.

Report the condition or status of PPE.

Performance Standards

1. Tools and equipment are lubricated according to preventive maintenance schedule.


2. Measuring instruments are checked and calibrated in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instruction.

3. Tools are cleaned and lubricated according to standard procedures. 4. Defective


equipment and tools are inspected and replaced.

5. Workplace is cleaned and kept in a safe state according to the standards of


occupational health and safety procedures.

6. Insecticides and pesticides should be properly stored in a safe place a way from
gasoline, oil, wax, and other flammable liquids.
