Main purpose of the job:
To plan, coordinate and manage the activities and affairs related to tobacco research, growing and marketing in an efficient manner in order to achieve the statutory goals and objectives of Tobacco Board of Zambia. Coordination and Supervision Supervises Regional Tobacco Inspectors and Tobacco Inspectors in all the Provincial and District offices. Plans and coordinates with Tobacco Inspectors in regions and provinces Plans, co-ordinates and implements tobacco projects 2 Best Practices Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures by all Tobacco Inspectors in the regions and provinces Translate all departmental objectives and initiatives into tangible, executable plans for all Inspectors Leadership Contribute to short and long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence. Responsible along with other Managers for the continual improvement of procedures, and processes with a focus on improving quality, increasing efficiency and delivering all services with excellence. Update the Tobacco Inspectors concerning roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures, and any other pertinent developments or topics. 3 Communication Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services such Research, Admin services, etc. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions. Prepare technical reports Conduct co-ordination of research on tobacco in conjunction with relevant organizations and websites. 4 Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Sales force Administrator quality Monitor and support sales and marketing activities.
