    EDAC Formative Assessment

    (Assessment for Learning )

    A set of 530 + FA sheets, a skill based assessment tool that helps the teachers
    and students identify the areas of improvement and take timely remedial
    action.

     Is an approach to teaching and learning that creates a


    feedback, which is used to improve the “learners
    performance”. Diagnostic Nature.

     AFL aims at closing the “gap” between the learners current


    situation and the expected.

     Through the feedback the “teachers” can plan tasks to help


    the learning.

    (Assessment of Learning)

    A set of 19000 + questions, used to give additional practice in each concept


    and design question papers.

     Also sometimes referred to as “Summative Assessment “ ,


    assists the teachers in using the evidence of student
    learning against the outcome.

     AOL usually happens at a defined point , usually the end of a


    “session” or “unit” or “semester”

     AOL helps providing evidence of achievement to the wider


    audience like “parents”
