Since Apr’ 13: Merrick Industries India Private Limited, Bengaluru as Deputy - Manager-QA and QC

Merrick industries Manufacturing of Coal Feeders for Supply to NTPC & BHEL at Various sites in India.
Equipment involves fabrication, Machining, Casting and Forging Process.

Role
 Steered the establishment and management of Total Quality System including management review,
document control, training, customer feedback and addressing complaints, review of internal audits,
process improvement and corrective/preventative action (CAPA) activities
 Steering the complete gamut of quality assurance & control functions including supplier inspection &
audit during the fabrication process
 Finalizing QAP for Equipment Fabrication, Machined, and bought-out items by studying technical
Specification, Purchase Order, Drawings and Data Sheets.
  Reviewing and finalizing inspection report of various types of fabricated items like Material
Handling Equipment and bought out items like Conveyor Belt, Motors and Gear Box, Coal Valve as
per specifications
 Witness the NDT activities for finished weld joints UT, PT, and MT and give final clearance
 Monitoring fabrication & welding jobs and following up on QA/QC related activities, approving the
inspection test procedures, WPS/PQR/WPQ submitted by sub-vendors and guiding in the
