PREFACE
A souvenir is an object a person acquires for the memories the owner associates with it. A
souvenir can be any object that can be collected or purchased and transported home by the
traveler as a memento of a visit. While there is no set minimum or maximum cost that one is
required to adhere to when purchasing a souvenir, etiquette would suggest to keep it within a
monetary amount that the receiver would not feel uncomfortable with when presented the
souvenir. The object itself may have intrinsic value, or be a symbol of experience. Without
the owner's input, the symbolic meaning is invisible and cannot be articulated

nothing goes to waste. We design and make earth-friendly (or eco-friendly) and sustainable
gifts in which we can use every-day as substitutes to the non- biodegradable waste we throw
(like single-use plastics), and the same time plants and take care of trees for the future
generation.
Our story dates back in 2014 when we found out that Philippine lands need trees. The
country’s tropical rainforest used to cover 70% (or 21 million hectares). Throughout the
years, it declined and comprised of only 4.6% (or 6.8 million hectares) in 2010 Mainly
because of mining and deforestation. Deforestation not only for ecosystems to deteriorate, but
it also affects the lives of the indigenous communities.
