Medical Assistance
■ Medical evacuation
Savana Assistance offers commercial escort, helivac, (helicopter evacuation) and air ambulance.
All services come as a bed-to-bed arrangement, and in accordance to international
aeromedical/retrieval medicine standard.
Our medical directors will assess each individual case carefully to determine the best approach,
ensuring the safest delivery of the patient to a higher care facility. This panel of doctors also
continue to aid throughout all the missions we undertake.
As we prioritize your health, each of our medical crews is trained specifically for
aeromedical/retrieval medicine, with extensive experience either in the field of emergency
medicine or critical care medicine.
■ Overseas medical consultation
We understand that moving an unwell family member or client is not as easy as it sounds,
especially to move a critical care loved ones.
Hence, we facilitate a prior-to-patient-transfer-consultation-with-the-receiving-doctor session(s), to
ensure all stake-holders will benefit from the medical transfer itself.

■ Fit to fly consultation and certification
Led by aviation medicine specialist(s) and aeromedical and retrieval medicine trained medical
directors, rest assured each case is assessed carefully to ensure one’s safety to undertake the medical
flight, and to determine the best way of flying one’s will benefit most.
■ Medical equipment rental for home care
It is not uncommon that following hospital discharge, a follow up care at home is still required.
This rehabilitation phase is equally important to ensure one’s comprehensive recovery, also to
minimize rehospitalization event.
We provide consultation on how the care at home must be carried out, tailored to one’s medical
condition. In care required, some suitable for home care medical equipment are also available to rent.
■ Repatriation of mortal remains
In the very unfortunate event of death whilst traveling, to the grieved family member we can assist in
arranging repatriation of mortal remains.
Medical Trainings
Through this campaign we aim to create public awareness that EVERYONE can save a
life by learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic life support.
■ Basic Life Support
This is a basic training that provides introduction to build awareness to emergency situation in our
daily life, especially ones related to heart and breathing problem. Not only that participants are
taught about how to recognize those situation, but also are taught about practical methods in the
management of emergency respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest.
■ First Aid Training
This training includes Basic Life Support and additional daily emergencies, such as how to control
bleeding, what to do in the first place when dealing with strain and sprain, and how to perform proper
stabilization and transportation for injured patients.
■ Basic Trauma & Cardiac Life Support
This training is especially designed for nurses and provides a practical method in emergency trauma
and cardiac cases management.
The Process : medical evacuation
REQUEST
Each request is treated with the utmost urgency and our medical team
will carefully assess the patient’s medical condition to determine the fit
to fly status and most appropriate method of transportation. The latest
and comprehensive medical report is needed to complete the
assessment

QUOTATION and PAYMENT


Timely quotation will be presented to the relevant stakeholders, within
1 hour of request. This quotation will include complete bed-to-bed
medical transfer. Contractual clients can activate via a Letter of
Guarantee, whereas upfront payment is required for non-contractual
clients.

MISSION
Complete documentation --> activation time will be 4-6 hours for
domestic & SEA flights. Real time update is provided to all stake holders.
In-flight critical care monitoring, and personal handover to receiving
physician at destination hospital.
