Remove rear left passenger side foot panel by pull out the panel (4-5 clips) Remove rear left
passenger side foot panel by pull out the panel (4-5 clips)
Open/flip rear seat, run 2 wire (“L” & “UL) through this hole. Please ignore the picture as the
picture only have 1 wire. Suppose to be 2 wires.
Put back rear seat, and put your hand in through this area (Glove used recommended), and from open foot
panel, pull those wire out (see circle). Please ignore the picture as the picture only have 1 wire. Suppose to be 2
wires.
Remove the front passenger side foot panel by pull the panel (5-6 clips)
At the front passenger, at the side of seat, find this closed plastic cable, open it, find:
BLUE with grey strip wire (LOCK) – Connect to module wire output label as “L”
YELLOW with grey strip wire (UNLOCK) - Connect to module wire output label as “UL”
If you prefer not to be messy because of the slicing, I suggest you buy this item. Just
put two wires that you want to tap, then just push and click it. Easy as 1,2,3. Normally,
Daiso sell this and other electronic shop. Not electrical shop!
Run the wire to front passenger side, tie on something. Please ignore the picture as the picture
only have 1 wire. Suppose to be 2 wires.
Tidy the wire by hide under the panel along to boot area (dont' forget open/flip rear seat again) - see arrow –

And the wire must come out from this hole
Continue along the hinge to the trunk area. You might need some tie cable/tape to make it tidy
along the hinge
Hook the actuator rod to latch and connect the ground wire to the latch screw
Push the latch mechanism to lock, pull the actuator to full extended. try to find screw/drill spot,
and drill after that.
DRILLED & SCREW – This is the only hole we need to drill.
Angle of Actuator – Please follow the angle of the actuator exactly like in the picture, if
not, it wont work or might have some problem in the future.
