Definition of Terms

To better understand the study, the following terms are theoretically and
operationally defined:

Carrot. This refers to a root vegetable, usually orange in color, that is often
claimed to be the perfect health food. Carrots are rich in vitamins, minerals,
and fiber. They are also a good source of antioxidants. In this study, carrots
refers to one of the ingredients of the proposed product.

Coconut meat. This refers to the white flesh inside a coconut. They are
high in fat and calories while moderate in carbohydrates and protein. In this
study, coconut meat refers to one of the ingredients of the proposed product.

Macaroon. This refers to a small biscuit or cookie, typically made from


ground almonds, coconut or other nuts, with sugar and sometimes flavorings.
In this study, we refer macaroons as the related product of macarot due to the
resemblance of their tastes and appearance.
