The ABISHAI SDA Church formerly known as IISHAI SDA Church is built through the effort of Bro.
Alfredo Lepaopao upon the request of a certain individual Mrs. Oftana for she could no longer
go to Suarez SDA Church for health reasons. It is located in sitio IISHAI, Suarez, Iligan City. The
small church stood last April 2008 with only 20 members. After conducting several crusades
from 2009 – 2014, the growth of the church is increasing rapidly and even topped the soul
winning program in the district for 5 solid years. At present the church has a membership of
more or less 100 members excluding baclsiders. The said church can no longer accomodate the
increasing number of the brethren, so we have decided to destroy the right wall portion so
that people outside can see the participants during sabbath services. The Church Board are
moved to long for a church after seeing the heart’s desire of the brethren to have a new
church, not a big one or a beautiful one, but a church that can accomodate the members for a
better, meaningful and comfortable worship.

With God’s help and support from the people now stands the new church that the brethren are
very proud of. In connection with this, We would like to request from your good office to grant
us and schedule for the organization of the said church at your most convenient time.

We are hoping for your kind consideration. May God will bless you as you continue to serve
your constituents.
