After this module the trainee will be able to enlighten knowledge, skills and attitude towards caring of infant and toddlers. This will be their
guide in assessing the growth and development of child, they become task oriented in delivering care, providing appropriate environment and
nutritional needs of them to sustain their healthy living condition. .
The learning activities in this module will enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes in providing care and support to infant and toddler of
the primary care giver. The allocated time of learning may be varied based on the competencies of the trainees involved.

This session covers Competency for Caregiving NC II which is PROVIDING CARE AND SUPPORT TO INFANT AND TODDLERS. It includes
learning outcomes No. 1 that explain the concepts and principles of caring, growth and development of infants/toddlers.

The learning contents are given for each of the learning outcome. Trainees are given instruction for their presentation such as
reading of the information sheets, doing self checks and comparing answers to answer key. They are also provided with the tools
in undergoing their sessions such as CBLM, the tools, materials and equipment based on the training regulations and the
competency – based curriculum. This session plan shall be useful primarily to the trainers and the trainees. It shall also be helful
to other future trainees and researchers on the same competency. Other teachers may use this and can make improvements for
the benefit of future users.
