Re: ANC5E Advisory Committee Recruitment

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 5E (ANC5E) announces that members are being sought to serve on two
advisory committees, the ANC5E Zoning Committee and the ANC5E Alcohol Licensing Committee. The
Zoning Committee will review applications for zoning permits, variances and special exceptions and will make
recommendations to ANC5E as to how it believes the commission should respond to those applications.
Similarly, the Alcohol Licensing Committee will review matters pending before the Alcoholic Beverage
Regulation Administration and make recommendations to ANC5E as to how it believe the commission should
respond to those matters. No particular expertise is required but ANC5E is particularly interested in hearing
from people who live in the ANC5E service area and who have either expertise, or past experience, or simply
high interest in either zoning or alcohol permitting. For more details, see the attached guidelines.
