Harmonic analysis:
Do RN analysis of the piece.

Label any sequences that occur.

Label all cadences by type. Label any deceptive or evaded cadences also.

Formal analysis: Label all section of the large scale form (Main Theme, Interior
Theme, Main Theme return). If there is a retransition and/or coda label this
also.

Label all parts of each of these sections. You may use form functional labels,
or use letters as follows: A = exposition (of a binary form), B = digression
(AKA contrasting middle) or second part (of a simple binary form), A' =
recapitulation (of a rounded binary form). Note also written out repeats (“A
repeated”).

If there are any sentences or periods, label the parts of these (antecedent,
consequent, presentation, continuation).
