Steps to draw circle diagram
• By using the data obtained from no load test
and blocked rotor test, the circle diagram can
be drawn using the following steps-

Calculating parameters-

1) 𝑻𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒑𝒖𝒕 = 𝑳𝑲 ∗ 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒔

2) 𝑭𝒊𝒙𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒐𝒔𝒔 = 𝑹𝑲 ∗ 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒔

phase r2 and r1 can be easily computed. For
any values of stator and rotor currents I1 and
I2 respectively, we can write-

Note- If transformation ratio is not given then check for turns ratio which can
give value of K.
