Subject: Regarding permission of bus for industrial visit on 7TH Feb 2020.

This is to inform you that, we got approval of industrial visit for student of B.Tech 2ND & 3rd year in
AVON Cycle (G.T. Road Ludhiana). AVON is one of the top bicycle producing companies in the world,
with a capacity to produce 4 million bicycles per year. Today, AVON has earned not only brand loyalty
but also millions of satisfied customers in India and abroad. It has a huge manufacturing facility located at
Ludhiana. It has a production line capable of producing more than 4 million cycles per annum. In a very
short span of time, AVON has developed its production unit into a hi-tech, state of the art facility with all
the latest machines such as CNC Lathe, drilling, milling and MICRO UTM and several fatigue and
impact testing equipments and instruments essential for producing sophisticated and high-quality
bicycles. It will be beneficial for our students to understand the concept of manufacturing and production.
Also this visit will inculcate the entrepreneurial skills in the students.

Approximately 50 students have given their willingness to go there. So it is requested please arrange bus
facility on 7/2/2020.
