 The movie is entitled, “Seven Sundays”.
2. When was the film made?
 It was created in the year 2017 and was released on October 11 by Star Cinema
3. What does the title suggest to you?
 To me, the title reflects a limited time, 'seven sundays, which the movie will
particularly revolves in, suggesting that within those seven sundays, there will be
huge turns of events that the viewers will greatly witness and relate to.

WHILE WATCHING THE FILM

1. Type of film
 A fictional film; Comedy Drama
2. What interesting facts or ideas does the movie bring to mind? How did the film made
you feel?
The fact that the movie depicted such relatable situations within the family really
caught my interest. Having different lives and status among the siblings made me
wonder how they would deal with each other considering they had issues in the past
as well. With this kind of setting, it made me feel conflicted. But as the movie goes on,
I could even feel the urge to swear that no matter how far you get in life, i will never
let this kind of thing happen to my family. And as everything falls to its place, I
realized that family weighs heavier than anything you could ever possess in your life.
Love is simply unconditional. And that kind of love have been lying around the place
we call home.

3. What does the film show about people and their values?
People may differ from what they want to be and what they want to have, but deep
within, we all want to be loved and accepted. The film showed how people can have
their own demons, issues and principles. But as a family, family always matters the
most. Each of the siblings had different exterior of living their own lives. But the core
that binds them all is the love and care they have always had for one another. They
values everything they have shared together as family and will value every bit of it
more, staying and supporting one another.

4. Who are the films main characters? Why do they behave the way they do? What
were the problems they face and the choices they made and its consequences?

Allan Bonifacio, the eldest son of Manuel, played by Aga Muhlach, had been experiencing a lot
of financial problems, wanting to provide his family a good life. He deals with the fact that despite
being the eldest and most favored son of Manuel, he possess nothing much of a success compared
to his siblings.

Bryan 'Bry' Bonifacio, the middle son of Manuel, played by Dingdong Dantes, portraying the
role of a successful business man who had been wanting nothing but the approval of his father,
felt left out and unrecognized. He is strictly business minded and practical, sometimes forgetting
how to act around a family, insisting opinions that he thinks are the right one, refusing others'.

Charmaine "Cha" Bonifacio, the only daughter and the third child of Manuel, played by Cristine
Reyes, experiencing her own issues within her own family, especially her relationship towards
her husband. She was also the most affected about the news of her father's illness.

Dexter "Dex" or "Baby D" Bonifacio, the youngest son pf Manuel, played by Enrique Gil, a well
known persona among millennials, however, his chosen path in life was never agreed upon his
family, especially Bryan. He had been distant and closed off from his family, carrying his
problems by himself.

Manuel Bonifacio, a wdowed and left by his children who are working and finding no time for
the family, instilling loneliness deeper in him He was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and will
soon be dying, claiming that he only has seven weeks to live. Because of the news, the Bonifacio
siblings reunite to spend with his remaining time. However, it was soon turned out to be a
misdiagnosed illness saying that he doesn’t really have cancer. But he chose to hide the truth
from his children seeing that keeping it a secret for a while would make them regain their
relationship with one another once again. But instead, painful words, confrontations and hatred
was thrown within the family when they found it out.

5. How are happiness, love, identity and family values addressed in the film?
The plot of the film was realistic and greatly relatable to many. It showed how a once
ordinary, simple and happy family can turned into a distant and deep inside, broken one.
But despite all the seemingly unavoidable issues and resentment towards each other, they
still manage to overcome every bit of it, because they are family and will always be family.
They had their own identities, of who they are and how they deal with their own lives, but
together, they all wanted one thing, to spend more time around one another and cherish all
the priceless moments that only a family possesses; trust, honesty and unconditional love.
They clearly told us that there will be no right time because each time counts when we are
talking about family. There will be no perfect you because you youeself counts to your family.
Family will always have your back and that's just how treasurable family is.
