Step 3: Check and verify your academic status is eligible for discount:

1. Signin to https://mcp.microsoft.com/ with your outlook id

2. Click “your benfits & exams”

3. Click Certification & Exams>Click Exam list. Following list will appear:
4. Select any exam from the list (example: 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications)
5. Click Schedule exam

6. In next window you will find your profile information along with job function status (must be: student: verified.)
7. Click Submit button. A window will show this message “You are being transferred to the Pearson VUE site to complete
your transaction.”
8. Select “I will be scheduling for a future date at a test center” and Click Next

9. You will find the following information. If Price*: showing USD 40.00 you are verified for academic discount. Sign out the
window.
