soft landscaped space for the library
by extending the raised gardens and
allee of trees of the Civic Square, to 19
visually connect the two squares into
one coherent public space.

garden and library pavilion garden
• Electrical and structural

Objective:
To extend the presence of the library
into the Square with a new pavilion
for flexible use, animating it with a 20
relocated food service and cafe
seating.

framework a strong eastern edge to
the library square which can support
public markets and other
