METHOD OFF WORK
4.1 Siite Planning & Preparation
4.1.1 Material Reeceipts &Sto orage facilities:
The levelled lay down n area for sto
orage / asseembly of matterials shall b be provided by client as
per the aagreed locatiions. The tem mporary lay down area shall be barrricaded and fenced
around w with signage for stackingg the materiaals. Limited materials on nly shall be kkept on the
floor whe ere the conccrete column ns and beam ms located.

A deck sheeets & materrials on receeipt at site by trailers sshall be unloaded at th
he
designated loocation or att the erection location byy tower cran ne or hydra.
Materials

erly identifieed and stackked on woo oden planks clear off thhe
ground. Stackking shall faccilitate easy identificatioon and inspeection.

7. The bundles shall be plaaced on, beaarers which provide a ggentle slope to allow an

ondensationn or rain to d drain and freee flow of airr around thee bundle.
8. The bundles shall not be stored morre than 4 higgh (1.2m maax) and no o
other material

11. Prior to the lifting of bun

12. The bundles sshall be opened only wh
hen all sheetts can be possitioned and

13. The sheet layying shall be carried out grid by grid,, as per the cconstruction
n sequence.

D ets must be ffixed to the top of the ssteel beams.. All fixings sshall be mad

he decking as given the ddrawings.

16. The surface o of the beamss, where decck sheets arre to be placced, shall be ensured thaat
it is free from
m water, dirt,, debris etc.

4.1.6 Stud Welding

be ensured that the stud d is directly w
welded to thhe supportin ng beams an nd
of equivalentt to the we
eld thicknesss of machine welding (Fillet size –as per ouur
reequirement)).
