Task Sheet 5.1-1

Title : Basic wiring practice using Single, 3-way and 4-way switches
Performance Objective: Given all the materials and tools, you should be able to Terminate and
connect electrical circuit given in an illustration 4.1.1.
Supplies/Materials:
 Wire 2.0 mm2/ #14
 Wire Nut
Equipment:
 EIM Table Mock-Up
 Set of pliers (Long Nose, Combination plier and diagonal side cutter)
 Analog/Digital Multimeter

Steps / Procedure:

1. Perform the four circuit (Illustration 4.1.1) from basic to

complex.
2. Using the EIM Table Mock-up, connect the
corresponding wire for a given circuit in a junction box.
Make sure all the wires are all inside the conduit.

4. Before turn-on the circuit breaker, check your wiring
with multimeter.
